Venice Cooking Society was founded to celebrate Venice’s rich culinary tradition, weaving together stories of culture, art, and local flavors.

The founder, Marco Maccapani, born in Milan in 1959, brought his experience as a producer and creative director in fashion and art into gastronomy. Having collaborated with brands like Philipp Plein, Missoni, and Versace, Marco has crafted unique culinary experiences that blend art and cuisine.

Marco Maccapani served as Artistic Director of the Venice Carnival from 2016 to 2019, further enriching his creative vision and ability to fuse culture with culinary excellence. His creations include recipes from Venice as well as from all over Italy.
